E.ON acquires majority stake in envelio

We are excited to announce that E.ON has acquired a majority stake in envelio. The E.ON Group is one of Europe’s largest operators of energy networks and energy infrastructure and a provider of innovative customer solutions for 50 million customers. The acquisition of envelio is part of E.ON’s ambition to provide an open digital energy ecosystem. envelio will remain an independent company and continue to evolve the Intelligent Grid Platform – the cutting-edge solution to create the digital grids of the future. The combination with E.ON’s industry expertise will accelerate this development even further going forward.
