GISMobil, AM Suite and IGP – Joint development and integration of digital solutions for distribution system operators and utilities

The goal of the partnership between SPIE and envelio is to further develop digital processes for distribution system operators and utilities and in doing so, jointly accelerate the energy transition.

envelio and SPIE

As part of the partnership, envelio and CeGIT, a business unit of SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa (SPIE DZE; SPIE Germany & Central Europe), are developing the NETToENVELIO Connector: a standardized interface between the geographic information system GISMobil and the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP). The interface is preconfigured for the GISMobil’s module for electricity. After the initial setup, the data export from GISMobil runs automatically.

Thanks to the sophisticated Connector’s mapper, the exported data can be used directly in the IGP without any coding effort. The interface is designed to be flexible, offering a wide range of configurations options, for example, for individual adjustments based on customer requirements or for the export of additional tables.

The integration of the asset management platform AM Suite with the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) enables a complete digitalization of the end-to-end processes for end customers with connection requests for photovoltaic systems, charging stations and battery storage.
