envelio and GWAdriga
GWAdriga acts as a central full-service provider for gateway administration, meter data management, and CLS management. In its collaboration with envelio, GWAdriga plays a critical role at the interface between the digital assessment of the real-time state of the grid and the resulting control requirements on the one hand, and the physical control of controllable loads such as EV chargers and heat pumps on the other.
A key contribution made by GWAdriga is the provision of a secure communication infrastructure that supports the operational implementation of the regulatory requirements under Section 14a EnWG. By integrating CLS management into envelio’s low-voltage control system, grid operators can automatically trigger targeted, local, and time-limited control commands.
This partnership ensures seamless interaction across the entire process chain, from the digital twin and gateway management through to the controllable device. GWAdriga therefore provides a future-proof and scalable solution for metering point operators and grid operators seeking to safeguard system stability in an increasingly decentralized energy system.
