Digitalizing Grid Operator Processes: Unifying Internal and External Processes in a Single Grid Portal

WiRo Consultants develops tailored digital solutions for grid operators and municipal utilities, including members of the Die Netzwerkpartner association. Its grid portal brings together grid connection, energy feed-in, load facility, and commissioning processes in a single platform. By integrating envelio's Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP), grid connection requests are automatically forwarded to the IGP for assessment, with the connection assessment results sent back to the portal.

At the heart of its offering is the grid portal, which brings together various grid operator processes and external applications in a unified platform. These include grid connection, energy feed-in, load facility, and commissioning processes. The portal enables customers, installers, and grid operator staff to complete their tasks through seamless, end-to-end digital workflows.

The integration with envelio's Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) links workflows in the grid portal directly to the IGP's grid calculation capabilities, enabling automated grid connection assessments, for example. WiRo Consultants continuously develops and enhances these solutions in collaboration with the Die Netzwerkpartner association.

About the grid portal:

The grid portal brings together key grid operator processes in a single platform, including grid connection, load facility, commissioning, energy feed-in, and installer management processes. Through a central hub, grid operator staff, customers, installers, and service providers can access all processes with a single login. Additional modules, such as administrative interfaces for grid operator staff, ZEREZ data retrieval, APIs, single sign-on (SSO), and statistics, provide flexibility to extend these processes as needed. The integration with envelio's Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) adds automated grid calculation capabilities, for example, to load facility and energy feed-in processes.
