“Game changing, innovative & full of learning” – that’s how our colleagues describe working at envelio. As a software start-up in the energy industry, we were founded in 2017 and have been pursuing a common goal ever since, we want to change the energy system sustainably.

More than 100 employees are already on board and working passionately on smart solutions for our power grids. Each one of them contributes to the further development of our Intelligent Grid Platform – combining our core competence in the tech sector with in-depth expertise in all areas of the company. Only together can we really master the energy transition.

My responsibility as a Frontend developer consists of translating the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code. As I have always loved creativity and at the same time been intrigued by science, I am super happy to be part of a team that never fears change, that is always in search of improvement and that progress is its only destination.

Fully remote or hybrid

Determine your own remote percentage, according to your personal needs. We offer a flexible and trust-based working time model.

Working from abroad

You’re planning a workation or want to visit family in another country? Work from abroad for up to three months per year.

Part-time models

How much you’d like to work is entirely up to you. We value all lifestyle decisions. The 4-day week, as well as other part time models, are already in use.

Modern loft office

We work in an open office concept in a former factory hall. In addition, there is room for retreat, e.g. for focus work or confidential conversations, as well as our Working Café.

Vacation

You will have 30 vacation days per year. In addition, Rosenmontag, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are corporate holidays at envelio.

Mobility budget

You will have a monthly mobility budget of 50 Euro at your disposal. You may use this budget flexibly (e.g. for public transport or a JobRad, a subsidized bike).

Our multi-stage recruiting process

From application to job offer

After receiving your application documents, we begin a multi-stage interview process designed to evaluate the fit from both sides: Personality, skills and experience as well as your enthusiasm for envelio. During the interviews you will get to know different interview partners and thus get a good sense of our spirit, our culture and the people at envelio. If you apply for a software development position, you will be given access to a Coding Challenge after your first interview.
