envelio and LACROIX SAE

LACROIX SAE offers compact, modular remote control devices for monitoring and control in secondary substations (ONS). In addition to the classic tasks of remote control and automation in medium-voltage grids, the SAE technology is also ideally suited to capture and transmit low-voltage data via the same central unit. With the setIT configuration software, commissioning is quick and error-free.

The remote control technology supports common protocols such as IEC 60870-5-104 and MQTT, making it fully compatible with low-voltage cockpits like the envelio IGP. The partnership between LACROIX SAE and envelio focuses on integrating real-time data into existing grid models in the IGP. Together, the LACROIX SAE technology and the envelio IGP enable accurate real-time state estimation, early congestion detection, assessment of control requirements, and optimized grid operation in line with §14a EnWG. The technology can be deployed both in new secondary substations and as a retrofit solution.
